My Work:
I connect high achieving lawyers with challenging project-based work, allowing the lawyers to continue their careers in a flexible way, and clients to access a caliber of lawyer they may not be able to afford full-time.

My Passion:
My children. In them I see imagination, hilarity and hope for the future of our world.

My Family:
My husband and three children.

My Hero or Heroes:
My grandmother. She was strong, fascinating, kind and adventurous–the perfect role model.

My Escape:
Northern Michigan. The natural beauty is incredibly calming.

My Indulgence:
Knitting and expensive yarn…there is something so luxurious about hand knitting a garment.

My Roots:
I come from a loving and supportive family who emphasized education and social justice.

My Future:
Challenging, busy, fun.

My advice to Young Women:
My advice to anyone at all is that hard work, resilience, and kindness will take you where you want to be.

How I Balance it All:
I try to remember that there is a different time for everything important in life…you may not be able to do it all at once, but if you can give your attention to what is most urgent and work efficiently, usually the rest will fall into place.
