Woman of the Week ~ Christina Perry

Here at Executive Elements, we like to feature fantastic women we think you should know. Some of these women are clients, some are friends, some are women we’ve only just met. But they all have this in common: they are dynamic, interesting women who have agreed to share with us their insights and secrets to success.

My Name: Christina Perry

My Current Job/Company: VP Finance and Operations, Forge Biologics, Inc.

My Work: Building the structural bones of the finance, HR, and investor relations arms within Forge while helping the team stay focused on the strategic plan that was set for the company.

My Passion: My family and my work

My Family: Frank (my husband and my rock in all things life), Frankie (8 yr old son – my sensitive hockey player), Miles (6 yr old son – unassumingly smart and observant), and Cooper (2 yr old son – the wild child)

My Hero or Heroes: The amazing people that have picked me up during the most difficult times in my life. You know who are you.

My Escape: Any body of water with a floating vessel – or just a quiet room in my house where I can think uninterrupted for a few minutes.

Pet Peeve: Leaving the water on while brushing teeth

My Indulgence: A perfect Old Fashioned and Brookside Acai Blueberry dark chocolate

My Roots: I grew up in Cleveland with a family owned business in wholesale and real estate. My brothers and I are so blessed to have wonderfully supportive parents that always instilled the value of family and self discipline.

My Future: I hope to pave the way for my family to be healthy, successful, happy and always connected.

My Favorite Quote: Grit and grace will get you through.

My Accessory: Those that know me would probably say I need help in the accessorizing department. Sunglasses maybe?

My Advice to Young Women: Follow your gut, network early, and trust yourself.

How I Balance it All: Realizing when I need help, asking for it, and trusting that sometimes other people can take care of some things better than me!
