Woman of the Week – Jill Snitcher McQuain

Here at Executive Elements, we like to feature fantastic women we think you should know. Some of these women are clients, some are friends, some are women we’ve only just met. My Name:
Jill Snitcher McQuain

My Current Job/Company:
Executive Director, Columbus Bar Association

My Work:
I help lawyers be more successful.

My Passion:
My family and fitness/wellness.

My Family:
Larry (Husband), Ryan (Son- 14), and Logan (Son – 9).

My Hero or Heroes:
It’s pretty hard to narrow this down – my parents; my husband; my kids; our military personnel everywhere – past and present; my mentors; I am fortunate to have so many role models.

My Escape:
Running or biking. I love being outside, and when I can start my day with a morning run, with nothing but nature and the sunrise, I know it’s going to be a great day.

My Pet Peeve:
Ignorance and selfishness. The gifts we have been given all relate to being part of something bigger than ourselves. Put those gifts to good use.

My Indulgence:
Peanut butter…I could live on peanut butter.😊

My Roots:
I grew up with my parents and 2 sisters in Ashtabula, OH. Each of my sisters and I are a year a part, and we’ve remained very close. Now that I am a mom of 2 boys, I have a whole new appreciation for my dad growing up in a house of 4 women…

My Accessory:
My mobile phone.

My advice to Young Women:
Do the right thing, which is not always the easiest thing.

How I Balance it All:
I am surrounded by amazingly supportive people – both at home and at work. They all make me look good. I also believe that fitness, meditation, and nutrition are instrumental to overall well-being.
