My Name: Nancy Tobbe

My Current Job/Company: Executive Director, American Heart Association

My Work: Bring education, awareness, and programs to the central Ohio community to understand the impact of our No. 1 & No. 5 health threats – cardiovascular disease and stroke – and work to be a relentless force so everyone has the opportunity for a full and healthy life.

My Passion: Family & friends, community and adventure.

My Family: David (Husband); Landon (7 yrs. old son); Brice (6 yrs. old son); Marshall (18-month Great Dane mix)

My Hero or Heroes: My 93-year-old grandmother

My Escape: Traveling and a good book.

My Pet Peeve: Negative people and inability to be empathetic.

My Indulgence: Books

My Roots: Cleveland. Family. Longtime friendships.

My Future: Chaotic (boy mom) but fun!

My Advice to Young Women: You won’t know until you try, and don’t be afraid to ask for help.

How I Balance it All: Constant prioritization and being okay to say no to things.
